Reuters "Oddly Enough"

I subscribe to Reuters's "Oddly Enough" feed on my Google home page. I've noticed in the past that they tend to focus mostly on non-US news items. I figured this was their coy way of laughing at foreigners. My wife suggested another possibility, and following the dictate of "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.", I think she's right. "Maybe they focus on non-US sources because they have too much to draw from in the US."

Drinking from a firehose, indeed.
